Come with us where we began! We started in 1962 offering guided white water rafting trips and we'd like to share the challenge with you! Being on the river is such a unique experience, so different than any other outdoor adventure. Our staff's expertise is crafted around this river experience, more than any other activity that we offer.
Each river we run has its own magnetism and chemistry. Consider a serene and calm misty morning on the Middle Yough as you cast your fly line or share a mildly challenging float trip with your family exploring the majesty of this beautiful valley.
Perhaps you would enjoy the spontaneity and sheer fun of a run on the Lower Yough, where white water raft trips began in the East. We were there in the early days 38 years ago and still enjoy sharing the Lower Yough with you. We've introduced more than a quarter of a million quests to this wonderful experience. Be our next.
The largest, uncontrolled watershed in the East feeds the mighty Cheat River. Come with us in the spring when the mighty Cheat River is arguably the most demanding river run in the East. Eleven miles of pounding, big water coursing through a canyon carved from the force of floods moves you from the civilized world to the thrill of you against nature.
Looking for the extreme experience? There is no room for error on the Upper Yough. The river is tight and falling down, dropping over 100 feet per mile. It's a run that takes a special raft, a special guide, and a special person who wants to challenge this, the black diamond of river runs. It's a run of technique, skill, and power. Those who have run the Upper Yough definitely remember it!
